God creates the earth and everything in/on it. He gives dominion (control and authority) of it to man. Man messes up and gives dominion of it to Satan (because of a lie). WE gave our authority to Satan by allowing him to direct our action(s), and thereby making him lord. Jesus comes, takes the world back from Satan… and gives it back to man… us! Jesus has all power/authority in heaven and on earth, and then tells/directs/assigns us to go, make disciples, and to do (and teach others to do) everything He commanded of us (Matt 28:18-20), thereby delegating the authority to us to do so. Jesus, being all light and sinless, is unable to lie, and therefore, when He tells us to do something, He has equipped us, and/or granted us authority/ability to do it!
Soooo…. who has ALL power/authority… Jesus. Who has He directed and delegated authority to, once again… Man! Who carries the power and authority of Christ Himself… the Holy Spirit filled believer. Who DIDN’T get power or authority granted back to him? Satan! The only power and authority Satan is able to hijack (just like at the fall) is from you or I when we give it to him by believing his lie over Jesus’ truth. There is NO power or authority bigger than that of Jesus, AND of that He delegated to His believing, faith filled, Spirit filled followers/disciples/army (who are, by the way, 100% under His authority)!!!
(Note: below, “our” here equals “the believer + the Holy Spirit”)
Fear is not of Jesus and is therefore beneath our feet (and under our power and authority)!
Anxiety is not of Jesus and is therefore beneath our feet (and under our power and authority)!
Demonic influence is not of Jesus and is therefore beneath our feet (and under our power and authority)!
Sickness is not of Jesus and is therefore beneath our feet (and under our power and authority)!
Everything that is not of Jesus, is therefore beneath our feet (and under our power and authority)!
Let’s go ekklesia! Let’s act like the saints, royalty, warriors that Jesus has commanded AND EQUIPPED us to be… and let’s go stomp on the lies of the enemy, and introduce our friends, family, neighbors and strangers to the Love of our best friend, brother, Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And let’s have peace, joy, and a crazy good time doing it!!!!!
